Orders
How can I pay?
Credit or debit card at checkout. US customers can also pay over time with Klarna or Affirm, and Link is available for faster checkout.
I placed an order but never got a confirmation email.
Check your spam and promotions folders first. If you set up an account, you can also see your orders under My Account. Still nothing? Email us with the name and email you used at checkout and we’ll track it down.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, until it ships. Email us with your order number as soon as you can. Once it’s out the door, it’s out the door.
How long until my order ships?
In-stock gear ships within 1–3 business days. Preorder items run on their own timeline. See Preorders below.
Do you offer a military discount?
Yes. If you’re active duty, a veteran, reserve, or retired, fill out the form on our Military Discount page with proof of service (a military ID with sensitive info covered works), and we’ll email you a discount code. No gimmicks.
Shipping
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. US orders of $100 or more ship free. Free shipping is US only.
What does US shipping cost on orders under $100?
Orders under $100 ship USPS Ground Advantage, and you pay the live USPS rate calculated at checkout.
How long does US delivery take?
2–5 business days after it ships, on top of our 1–3 business days of processing.
Will I get tracking?
Yes. We email you a tracking number the moment your order ships.
International
Do you ship outside the US?
Yes. Here’s what it costs:
- Canada: $33 flat
- United Kingdom: $35 flat
- Australia and New Zealand: $45 for the first item, plus $5 for each additional item
- Everywhere else: $38 for the first item, plus $5 for each additional item
Example: three items to Australia is $45 + $5 + $5 = $55.
Is free shipping available internationally?
No. Free shipping on $100+ orders is US only.
Who pays customs, duties, and import taxes?
You do, on delivery. Every country sets its own rules and fees, so we can’t predict what yours will charge, and we can’t refund them. If you’re not sure, check with your local customs office before you order.
What happens if I refuse my package because of duties?
If you refuse a package because of duties or import fees, we don’t refund the original shipping or the return shipping. Know your country’s fees before you order.
How long does international delivery take?
Usually about 1–4 weeks after it ships, depending on the country and how long customs holds it.
Returns & Exchanges
What’s your return policy?
Full-price gear is backed by a 14-day money-back guarantee, counted from the day your order is delivered. Sale items are final sale. To qualify for a return, the item has to be:
- Unused, and in the same condition you received it
- Backed by a receipt or proof of purchase
How do I start a return?
Email chokecartel@gmail.com with your order number and what you’re sending back. We’ll tell you exactly what to do.
Who pays for return shipping?
You do. Shipping costs are non-refundable, and if a refund is issued, the cost of return shipping comes out of it.
When will I get my refund?
Once your return lands, we inspect it and let you know right away whether the refund is approved. If it is, the refund goes back to your card or original payment method. The credit usually shows up within a few days, depending on your card issuer.
Can I exchange for a different size?
Yes, as long as we have your size in stock. Email us with your order number and the size you need. You cover shipping the item back to us, and we ship the replacement out. Same 14-day window and condition rules as returns.
Can I return sale items?
No. Sale and markdown items are final sale: no returns, no exchanges. The 14-day guarantee covers full-price gear only. If a sale item arrives damaged, defective, or wrong, we’ll still make it right (see below).
My order showed up damaged, defective, or wrong. What now?
That’s on us. Email us with your order number and photos of the problem, and we’ll replace it or refund it. You won’t pay a cent in shipping either way.
Sizing & Care
How do I find my size?
Every product page has a Fit Guide tab with measurements in inches and centimeters. Use a soft tape, measure your body, and match it to the chart. Measure twice. Order once.
How should a rashguard fit?
Tight. It’s compression, not a t-shirt. It should lock to your chest and stay put at the waist when you’re stuck in someone’s guard. Size by chest first; height and weight are a second check. Between sizes, or have a long torso? Size up. Long and short sleeve share the same body.
How do grappling shorts fit?
Measure where the shorts actually sit, which is usually your hips, not your jeans waist. Between sizes, take the larger waist. The internal drawstring handles the rest. No metal, no velcro.
How do I size kids’ gear?
Kids’ rashguards come in 6Y, 8Y, and 10Y. Go by height first, age second. Stand them barefoot against a wall and measure. Between sizes, go up one, but don’t buy two years too big. A baggy rashguard bunches at the neck and hands out free grips.
How do hoodies fit?
Relaxed, heavyweight, made to throw on over a rashguard after training. True to size for a roomy fit; size down if you want it closer. The chart lists garment measurements laid flat, so double the chest width to compare it to your body.
What sizes do you carry?
Most adult gear runs S through XXXL, but some runs are narrower, so check the size options on each product before you order. Kids’ rashguards come in 6Y, 8Y, and 10Y.

How do I wash my gear?
Wash cold, inside out, and hang dry. Treat it right and it’ll outlast a lot of training partners.
Preorders
How do preorders work?
Some drops are sold as limited preorder runs. You’ll see “Preorder is open” on the product page. When the run is gone, it’s gone. Preorder items ship after the run closes.
When will my preorder ship?
About 3–5 weeks after the preorder run closes.
What if I order a preorder item with in-stock gear?
Everything ships together once the whole order is ready, so the in-stock gear waits for the preorder item. Want the in-stock gear sooner? Place it as a separate order.
Can I cancel a preorder?
Yes, until the preorder run closes. Email us with your order number before then. After the run closes, it’s locked in.
Academy / Team Orders
Do you make custom gear for academies and teams?
Yes. We make custom rash guards, grappling shorts, and spats for academies, teams, and organizations, with your logo, your colors, and your placement. Start on our Academy page.
What’s the minimum order?
10 pieces of a single item type.
What does it cost?
Per piece, custom printing included:
- Rash guards, short sleeve: $32
- Rash guards, long sleeve: $33
- Grappling shorts: $23
- Spats: $33
Tax is applied based on your location.
Is there a design fee?
Send your own artwork and there’s no design fee. If you want us to handle full customization, building the design from scratch or reworking what you have, there’s a one-time $100 design fee.
What file do you need for my design?
A PDF at 300 DPI, at least 2800 × 2800 px. Email us for design guidelines and templates.
Will I see the design before you make it?
Yes. You get a digital mockup before anything goes into production.
Do custom orders ship free?
Order 30 or more of a single item type and the entire custom order ships free within the US. Free shipping is US only.
Can I mix sizes within an order?
Yes. Mix sizes however your roster needs within the 10-piece minimum, kids’ sizes included.
How long do custom orders take?
About 4–6 weeks. Complex designs and big orders can take longer, so plan ahead for tournaments and events.
How do I place a team order?
Fill out the custom order form on the Academy page. Pick your products and quantities, upload your design or choose a Choke Cartel design, and pay by card.
Can I return a custom order?
No. Custom team orders aren’t returnable once production starts. That’s why you get a mockup first, so check it hard before you sign off.
